The Power Behind the Warmth
Here’s the heart of it. This heater runs on 400V, pulls 2500W, and uses a 300mm tube. That combo is chosen for one reason: serious heat density without straining your wiring. The shorter, 300mm tube focuses that infrared energy into a tight spot—perfect for warming a specific area in your gazebo. And that 400V supply? It lowers the amperage for the same wattage. So, you can run longer cables with thinner wire, compared to a 230V unit of the same power. Less fuss, more flexibility.
What It’s Made Of
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz envelope, finished with a reflective coating. That coating pushes the infrared energy forward, so more warmth goes where you want it, and it shields the filament inside. Then there’s the R7s connector—a double-ended, ceramic socket. It’s built to take the heat, which also means swapping out the lamp is a simple drop-in job. If you go with the SK15 base, you get a secure, keyed fit. It won’t twist or wobble, and it keeps a solid connection even if things get a little shaky.
