When condensation builds up on the glass, it acts like a wall, scattering the heat instead of letting it through. The heater then has to work twice as hard—running much hotter—just to make you feel warm. That wears out the lamp fast. Our fix? A hydrophobic coating. It sounds fancy, but it basically just means water can’t stick. Instead of a blurry film, the moisture beads up and rolls right off. When you seal a heater this tightly to keep water out, the electronics inside can’t “breathe” as easily. They get hot.
