Stop Fiddling with Tubes: Move to Turnkey IR Modules
Buying a handful of quartz lamps is a fine place to start. But let’s be honest: it leaves all the annoying stuff—the bending, the wiring, the tedious assembly—to your team on the shop floor. We think that’s a waste of your time. Instead of sending you a pile of parts, we handle the heavy lifting at our place. We build pre-formed, bent infrared heating modules that you can just slide right into your machine. It’s the difference between getting a box of ingredients and a finished meal.
The Art of the Bend
Straight lamps are easy. Anyone can do that. But things get tricky when your heat needs to follow a curve, like in PET blowing or a custom curing line. If you bend quartz the wrong way, you get thin spots or internal stress. That’s a recipe for a lamp that burns out way too early. We’ve spent years mastering the forming process so those weak points don’t exist. And we don’t stop at the bend. We build the reflectors and mounting brackets right into the unit. Why? Because if your alignment is off by even a couple of millimeters, you get cold spots. And cold spots mean wasted product.
Stop Wasting Man-Hours
Wiring up dozens of individual lamps is a total time sink. It’s tedious work, and let’s face it, quartz is fragile. One slip of the hand during installation and you’re ordering a replacement. With our turnkey modules, that headache disappears. Your technicians don’t have to wrestle with brackets or pray they don’t snap a tube. It’s a pre-wired assembly. Just plug it in, flip the switch, and get back to work.
A Couple of Things to Keep in Mind
Now, there’s a trade-off. When you bend a tube, the heat gets more concentrated at the curve. You’ll need to make sure your cooling fans and airflow are dialed in so the quartz doesn’t overheat at that radius. Also, because these are custom shapes, they’re a bit more delicate during transit. We use specialized shipping crates to make sure they arrive in one piece. We’ll give you the full thermal footprint before we ship. That way, when the crate hits your floor, you’re ready to run.
